Newburn Bakehouse has launched brand new gluten, wheat and dairy free soft seeded rolls – and they’re real delicious!
They’re packed with a blend of seeds for added fibre, texture and flavour. The soft granary-style gluten free rolls are a great choice for sandwiches, and you can fill them with whatever you fancy.
We filled ours with smoked salmon and avocado (aka the best sandwich filling ever), chucked them in a bag before heading off to work and (drumroll please) they were still in one piece and not at all crumbly when we scoffed them for a lunch a few hours later.
The new gluten free seeded rolls are available at lots of supermarkets; you can get them from Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons and Ocado.
Ingredients: Water, Tapioca Starch, Potato Starch, Pea Protein, Yeast, Rapeseed Oil, Seed Mix (8%) (Sunflower Seed, Linseed, Millet Seed, Poppy Seed), Egg White Powder, Stabiliser: E464; Vegetable Fibre (Psyllium), Maize Starch, Cornflour, Sugar, Calcium Carbonate, Concentrated Fruit Juice, Rice Starch, Salt, Humectant: Vegetable Glycerine; Preservative: Calcium Propionate (added to inhibit mould growth); Natural Flavouring, Caramelised Sugar, Iron.
